Let's be honest here. Is there much of a dissimilarity between the Empire and the European Union?TizzytheTormentor said:Wow, I never knew the European Union had such a big impact in the Star Wars universe.
It's actually pretty astounding that people are complaining about the lack of men when the main character seems to be the only prominent female.MarsAtlas said:Hmm, everybody in the comments section is bitching about women who aren't fuckbots in sci-fi movies or people complaining about the people complaining that there are women who aren't fuckbots in sci-fi movies. And here I am, just wanting to complain about them not bringing back Kyle Katarn.
Yes. He wasn't at all like that.Abyssal Dancer said:...Remember Luke?Hades said:Does the main character strike anyone else as an insufferable brat?
Luke was just whiny as fuck in Episode IV. This protag looks like a classic punk. I think it could definitely work. Disney's shown they know how to make compelling Star Wars characters so far, so I have faith they'll make her a good character.Hades said:Yes. That would actually be pretty damn sweet.Bob_McMillan said:Maybe this is the Rogue Squadron origin story?
Remember how the trailers for Episode 7 didn't show Finn being a complete goofball like he was in the film?Fappy said:Luke was just whiny as fuck in Episode IV. This protag looks like a classic punk. By the time of Rouge One, Tarkin is The Grand Moff, which makes him the second most powerful person in the galaxy. He answers to exactly one person, and it's the same one Vader is subordinate to.Glongpre said:I figured Mendelsohn is playing Tarkin, but who knows. He kinda looks like a younger version of him. I would think though, if he is in the base when the plans are stolen, Vader would force FUBAR him for failing, so maybe he isn't Tarkin.
He's armored, which almost certainly means he's a bounty hunter.Who is Whittaker supposed to be? Seems random to me, just a hermit(?) or rogue trooper(?) that gives out wisdom.
Her dialogue reminds me of a 15 year old who's about the slam the door shut on her mom, who totally doesn't get it.Hades said:Does the main character strike anyone else as an insufferable brat?
Oh I didn't know that. Well, then he is safe...for now.AccursedTheory said:By the time of Rouge One, Tarkin is The Grand Moff, which makes him the second most powerful person in the galaxy. He answers to exactly one person, and it's the same one Vader is subordinate to.
I thought about that, but Whittaker might be the most unintimidating bounty hunter I have ever seen, haha. Will reserve my judgement until I see him in action, they could give him some good scenes. He's armored, which almost certainly means he's a bounty hunter.
