So I got on Memebase out of sheer boredom just now. When the page loads I see this:

It's a funny idea to class gaming companies this way. But I think that there are a few things wrong with this chart. For example, Microsoft and Capcom should switch places, and Nintendo should be pushed down a bit. So, where would you class each company? ones that aren't on here?

just curious why would you classify valve as lawful evil?

otherwise I'd agree, ubisoft has racked up some major shit points in recent years, They are definitely not neutral.

I can't quite decide who I would crown as lawful good though, I don't know if I'd put overall nintendo or just one of their subsidiaries

This is just another example of people not knowing what the Chaotic/Lawful axis is.

How does EA get "Chaotic Evil" when their EULA which they hide behind is so staggeringly long and complicated that it defies belief? They have an enormous corporate structure with a well defined hierarchy, including spokespeople, boards of management and different divisions that work on their own projects. They also acquire other businesses through lawful means (purchasing them) rather than through chaotic means (enslaving them unlawfully). It's the very definition of lawful.

TLDR: Stupid people are stupid.

Capcom would be Chaotic...something. They're just all over the place, you never know what they'll do next, but I'm not even sure they know what they'll do next either...

Both Activision and EA are Lawful Evil, as their overabundance of lawyers, and needlessly tedious EULAs and TOS's prove.

Nintendo's spot on. They just want to make games for everyone to enjoy.

What with the retarded things they're doing with Windows 8, I'm willing to place Microsoft at Chaotic Evil. There's no other alignment that explains the interface for the desktop version.
