Romance cheating in Mass Effect

How far can you go in ME2 before it is considered cheating on your ME1 romance? I understand that if you remain loyal, you look at a picture of your LI from the first game before the suicide mission. So how far is too far? Does it have to be a full romance or does flirting with Kelly count?

You have to buy the third installation to find out what happens with the possible love triangle you set up. You can flirt with everyone until the lets have sex chat option, then you have to choose which one you want, not to mention if you change your mind you can always dump people in rapid succession. Its rather hilarious.

Nobody knows, since nobody has played ME3 yet. FWIW Liara seemed pretty forgiving at the end of Lair of the Shadow Broker, but there's no reason to think every other situation will go the same way...

For sure. I'm expecting Ash to blow a gasket after she finds out my Shepard left her for Tali.

And to that I will reply "You freaking kicked my heart in the ass on Horizon, Ash. Tali was there for me, and trusted me, even though she had more reason than you to hate Cerberus. YOU walked away. Yeah, the email was nice, but you still turned your back on me. As soon as you did that, it was over."

And then I will probably have to put up with her angry attitude the whole damn rest of the game. >_<

Why did I ever pick Ash in the first game? *sigh*

Haha, glad I'm no the only one who did that. My femshep is with Liara all the way, but after Ash about faces on me at Horizon, my manshep fell for Tali. Actually I'm not really sure if it was him or me who fell for her line about the "Dashing commander who wisked her away on a grand adventure." but as she says afterwards, "It was worth it."
