Most of us have been there. We've been in a situation where we had a not-so-good roommate and had to deal with all their strange habits and annoying behavior.

My freshman year of university, I had the chance of rooming with a person whom I'll never forget. Why?

I'm the guy in the bed. Stuff like this happened all of the time but this was the only one that was recorded. Good times.

So what about you all? Anyone have some crazy, interesting, or horrific roommate stories?

(I tried multiple Search combinations to make sure this hasn't been done recently, let's hope I didn't botch it up.)

Hahhahahhahahahaha! That was......Bwahahahahaa!
Ok, now with that out of the way.....I haven't really had a roommate yet, but when I do, my constant talking to myself would end up being kinda awkward.

I would have smashed that dudes guitar into kindling and then burn it to ashes I swear.

The last roommate I had was this crazy Raver girl named Elsasha. That girl did not clean up a damn thing. She ate all the food and did not spend her cash on more. She let things sit in the back of the fridge until it turned into a science experiment. That shit drove me nuts. Room mates SUCK.

I had a roommate who was more dumb than anything else. The apartment complex had a quarter laundry room. She did not know how to do laundry so I gave her a load of whites, told her to throw two quarters in the machine, add detergent, and turn the machine on. No brainer. She came back to tell me the machine will not work. I go done there to see what the problem is. The problem was, she literally threw the quarters into the washing machine with the detergent. "face palm" so dumb...

I have never had a good roommate, and have basically forbidden the idea of ever having another. I have too many horror stories to really share them all properly they run the gambit of the regular messy, noisy, annoying, hostile. But I lived on the top floor of a townhouse, my Mother was in town visiting so she slept in a spare room, one of my room mates rooms was directly below mine and her rooms. The next morning she woke up and asked me what the noise was in the middle of the night. Her exact words were "I heard something from downstairs last night. It sounded like someone was in pain, do you think your room mate was hurt?" I had to take a moment to find the words, you don't know how weird it is to have to tell your Mother what she thought was someone in pain, was your gay room mate having sex.

In his defense, it was funny and impressive to see him hit those high notes.

Too young for a roommate, but I hope I get a good one...
I think I'm going to do community college for a few years till I got a good sized portfolio to apply for Joe Keubert's or something, and in that time I bet I would get an apartment with one of my friends.
I wish I had a roommate like Wallace Wells (from Scott Pilgrim, Scott's gay roommate)... :)

Oh young one, you will regret those words someday. Really room mates are the bane of existence. If you don't know the person really well you are moving in with be prepared for headaches.

The roommates I have had have been generally okay. The worst one was just a neat freak, well, there was the one who took the rent money I gave him and used it to get a new apartment, but I should have seen that coming. I lived with my best friend for a while, and we got on pretty well. That's the secret, really, make sure you know each other well enough to know what you can and can't get away with.

She let her stew get moldy.
Not that I would've cared, but she had used my favorite cooking pot for making it.
Uargh.
I scrubbed it about three more times after she had cleaned it.

My last roommate used to...I can only describe it as sleep-flex. He would, at about 2 AM, go into the bathroom next to the room where I was working, and flex in front of the mirror. Then he would go straight to bed. He also smelled like a goddamn methane factory and thought that farts were the funniest thing in existence. I was repeatedly woken up by farts that sounded like thunder. They were terrifying in their intensity. He would also fight with his girlfriend till the wee hours of the morning. Crying and sobbing the whole way. It probably had to do with his reading material which included gems like this [http://www.amazon.com/Art-Seduction-Robert-Greene/dp/0670891924/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1249190464&sr=8-2]. He would also work out in the room where we slept and thus left it smelling like a dead cow's armpit. He never did the dishes either. He was also one of those popped collar wanna be cool guy douchebags.

Hmm I imagine I'll have a roomate next year when I go off to uni, the problem is I think I'll be the bad room-mate as I often like to do annoying impulsive things. Should be fun.

My roommate *never* left the room and was basically the biggest cock-block that there ever could be. I didn't get laid once during my entire freshman year because he was always.... always in my room. Also, I could masturbate maybe once a week tops, and that's if he felt like going to class.

My dorm-mate in college had Achondroplasia and I?m 6?6?. He was a really cool guy and I got along with him pretty well. But see our dorms were tiny and if you didn?t do a bunk bed system than you would have no room for anything but the beds. Him being a dwarf obviously he got the bottom bunk. I repeat that I am 6?6? do you have any idea how many times I hit my head on the ceiling waking up in the morning? Or how difficult it was for me two get into that bed due to only being about 1 ½ feet from the ceiling?

Also, he was a very mean drunk sometimes.

Wow, the guitar was pretty but his voice. I would have risen up and killed him.

I had a really crazy roommate in my first in college. She would spaz out about weird things, blame me when shit went wrong; then she started cutting herself and I came back to the room to find the room fucking ransacked and her pills all over. But she was faking! It drove me crazy!

And then, when I told her parents she was being crazy, they asked why and she told them it was all my fault.

I completely lost my shit and moved into another dorm. I have never had a roommate since then.

Don't get me wrong, upon seeing the video afterwards, I did chuckle a bit.

At least the annoying things were always interesting.

My current roommate has a very strange habit. He doesn't turn on the garbage disposable if the food is ?too small?. He just trys to run the food down the pipes regularly. I have explained to him numerous times that that is gross and why our sink smells awful.

When I was in jail my second cellmate would only shower about every three days. Didn?t ever clip his nails and if he used the toilet at night he wouldn?t flush it because he didn?t want me to wake up. Then again he was a crack dealer and a general asshole.
