Hello Escapst Forum (Sorry for any spelling errors, I'm at school and the computer has no spell check)
I am having router issues that are really interupting my Pc gaming. My problem is that my signal goes from "very good" to "Very low" randomly and often throughout the day. This ruins my ping and nocks me out of games often.
I have a N 150 Mbps Netgear router and a G linksys adapter, I bought a N NetGear adapter yesterday but it actually decreased the signal to a constant 20%. I called netgear and they suggested to simply move the router, they also had me change the channel of the router which did nothing.
I couldn't move the router if I wanted to though because my dad has everything connected in that room and he wouldn't care to move it and I don't think it would change anything anyways. My computer is hardly 20-30 feet away and my xbox gets full connection on it.
How could I fix this unstable connection?
