Royal Pains

So I have watched a few episodes of this show and I have a questionfor those of you who have watched it. Is it just me or is this show basically just 'House' with a more likable main character, a more exotic locale, and a Mcgyver, or however you spell it, spin on it? I just need to know that its not just me. Heh.

The only common thing is the ridiculously talented doctor, and that's it.
