The Royal Rumble is probably my favorite PPV each year. The Rumble match itself is usually so much fun, and the surprise entrants often make it so enjoyable. Now, to be fair, the undercard usually isn't the best, but that's usually okay because the main event is so good. And this year we've got a pretty solid championship match -- in addition to a couple of other matches with no real build and no interest.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods) vs. Tyson Kidd, Cesaro, and Adam Rose
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipbo67.jpg
Prediction: The heels are in such big losing streaks that it's so difficult to pick them here. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd don't win on main programs any more, and neither does Adam Rose. As such, I'm guessing The New Day wins, although with Woods' ankle injury, who knows?
Random Thoughts: This has been such an uninteresting feud, and it's not something that could get me to tune into the kickoff show ... except that I'd already be watching it anyway. The New Day needs something -- and no, that's not a heel turn -- and Cesaro and Tyson Kidd really need to start picking up a few victories. Adam Rose, as he currently is, is a lost cause.
WWE World Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipbo68.jpg
Prediction: The Usos win. The Miz and Damien Sandow continue to have trouble communicating, setting the stage for later on in the night when Sandow either eliminates The Miz or refuses to eliminate himself after The Miz is thrown over the top rope.
Random Thoughts: Man, The Ascension is boring, but at least they're some fresh blood. The Usos are boring, too, but I hope these two teams get paired together next, since it'll at least be a fresh matchup.
Natalya and Paige vs. The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella)
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipbo69.jpg
Prediction: WWE seems to be setting up both Natalya and Paige to be challengers for Nikki's title, so it makes sense for them to win here.
Random Thoughts: It's too bad that it doesn't look like we're going to get Nikki vs. Brie at WrestleMania, although I suppose it is still a possibility.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipbo70.jpg
Prediction: While it's possible that Brock Lesnar loses -- or wins and is cashed in on by Rollins -- I still think Lesnar is going to be champion going into WrestleMania. Lesnar should retain here.
Random Thoughts: If Rollins does cash in -- or if he wins outright -- that would potentially lead to a Shield triple threat for the title if WWE books it right. That would be pretty great, but I don't think it'll happen.
The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn) vs. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor)
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipbo71.jpg
Prediction: The New Age Outlaws are usually brought in to put over younger talents, and while The Ascension were humiliated on live TV earlier, this seems like the spot for them to get their revenge. The Ascension should be winning here.
Random Thoughts: If The New Age Outlaws wind up winning in any decisive manner, it might signal that WWE has given up on The Ascension already. That ... would be quick, but hopefully that isn't the case.

http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipbo72.jpg
Prediction: It seems as though there are only two likely winners of The Royal Rumble. The first has been rumored for a long time, and it's Roman Reigns. But Daniel Bryan's return from injury threw a wrench into the mix. WWE likely won't want fans to turn on Reigns like they did with Batista last year, so I'm going to guess that Reigns is victorious this time around.
Random Thoughts: I'm thinking this might come down to who walks away with the main championship this event. If Lesnar finishes the PPV as champion, Bryan is likely the winner. If Rollins is the champion, then it is more likely to be Reigns.
Hopefully this year's Royal Rumble is worth watching. That's what matters the most.
