RPG Character hatred

I'm just gonna come out and say that Dragon Age Origins is possibly one of the BEST RPG's I've played in a very long time. Great plot, dialogue, plenty of side quests to eat up time and more than enough codex entries to read if you feel like you need more immersion.

But alas there is one thing in particular that is seriously crippling my enjoyment of the game. Morrigan. I can't Friggin stand her. The very first time she appeared I thought "oh geeze this is the half dressed goth chick who is probably gonna pretend to be sarcastic and witty, and deviant art crap and little 11 year old boys are gonna freak out about her". So far I was right. But along with just her looks and annoying personality, her moral choice is polar opposite of that of my entire party. Its also hard NOT to keep her in the party, unless your main character is a mage with frost weapon and such or you're far enough in to get the other older mage (which I'm not but some one spoiled it for me).

Anyways Who was your most hated character in Dragon Age, or any RPG?

I can hear millions of haters winding up to say Cloud Strife or Tidus. Well I take those and raise you a Wakka! He sees the Al Bhed lose their home and compares it to happy festival fireworks?! WTF! You racist bastard!

Alistair bugged me - I mean he started out so strong and then he went TOTALLY daddy issues. I mean I don't mind that necessarily, but he was funny and sarcastic and a strong character, and went more and more 1d as it went on.

Oghren also bugged me because his entire thing was just making cock jokes. One or two are funny, not as much to base a character on.

Sten and Leliana were definitely my favourite, in that regard. Zev was fun, but a little shallow.

My least favorite dragon age character was sten. He constantly got killed in combat, and speaking to him was a pain. I never knew what to say.

I actually rather liked Morrigan. Even though each of the Dragon Age characters are based off of one archetype or another, they all have enough back story and personality to them that I don't really mind that much. Now... this is probably a side-effect of being an English major, but so long as I find a character interesting or unique in some way, I'm probably going to warm up to them.

Aww, you just have to get to know Zev, he's like an Icecream Cake, a shallow creamy exterior sprinkled with chocolate, with a hidden biscuit center.

He does open up to you if you romance him a bit.

Kaidan Alenko:

"Kaiden walk with me, lets look out the window over here, Oh hi Bastila!" *hand to ear* "Wrex, HK-47 the light is green, take them out".

Kaiden just came off as too good and innocent and Bastila was just one hell of an uptight jedi princess.

Sorry I have yet to play Dragon Age I can only talk about Mass Effect and KOTOR.

I at least tolerated most of the characters in Dragon Age. My most hated RPG party member in general though is an even draw between T3-M4 from KOTOR, Vaan from FF12, and Jupis from Rogue Galaxy. Good gosh, I hated them all with a passion.

wtf tidus is my fav ff charater how dare you.[note that i have only played ff10] i had to think about it for a little while but i guess Reaver from Fable 2 he is the biggist ass i have ever seen and he thought he was better than my maxed out hero

I liked all the characters in Dragon Age just fine. Sten could be a little frustrating and I got tired of Zevran hitting on me. And Alistair is way too pissy at some key moments. No really, I liked them all for the most part.
