Okay so what does everyone think the first RPG element type game was (it has to be a NONE rpg game).

The earliest I can think of off the top of my head is deus ex.. which was an effing grade A game which I still play thank you very much.

OT: Umm... the first mainstream one was FF1, in my humble opinion.
