I would like to know what are some good games that have Risk Style maps? Obviously Total War series, Endless Legend, Command and Conquer have this style of maps. I would like to know what are some other games that have this feature?
I don't like HOI3, actually. It is impossible to sandbox. It maintains uncanny historical accuracy in a good 90% of playthroughs. They said they'll be making HOI4 much more sandbox-y, so I await that with baited breath.2012 Wont Happen said:Crusader Kings 2, Europa Universalis IV, Victoria 2.
Best games ever made. Well, I hear Hearts of Iron is better, but it's too complex for me. The others, particularly Victoria 2, are damn near perfect in my book.
That's like saying the Mustang isn't a car, it's a Ford; RTS is an alternative to TBS. 4X is an attribute, not a genre.Chessrook44 said:That said, on the one hand, Endless Legend is technically a 4X game, not an RTS.
haha mean while im battling the soviet union in argentina, while the japanese government based now in greenland continues to fight to reclaim their home land from the evil canadians in HOI3MASTACHIEFPWN said:I don't like HOI3, actually. But yeah, I started with civ, moved to total war, and now sink all of my time into the paradox grand strategies (EU4 is the best in my opinion, though it is rather streamlined, which can be good for new players.) and cheating is really fucking fun.
