Rumor: Battlefield 2143 Possibly Leaked - Update: Fake

You know, I have only been asking for this for about six months and I am certainly hype. This may be the game where I actually get Origin to play. A futuristic Battlefield is soooo my shit

I really enjoyed the first one, There's something about plausible future themed games that turn my head. Titan mode was very cool, perhaps a little wonky mechanics wise but awesome. I think my favorite part was the APCs though, being able to launch over rivers and walls and such was a great mechanic that changed the typical battlefield strategy enough to make it interesting.

Of course even if they did make a new one, EA would find a way to fuck it up.

Must. Not. Get. Hyped. I loved 2142, it was my favourite Battlefield by far. However, given BF3 and BF4s CODification, I worry that this isn't going to anywhere near as good as the original. Battlefield has really lost its way and as much as the idea of stomping around in a walker and smashing up buildings on the frostbite engine excites me, I know the game is going to be mired by poor execution and optimization.

Bogos, not to be cruel but I still remember the Rayman Smash Bros thing. You probably shouldn't take sources from 4chan, 8chan, Reddit and other social media because they seem to be about 80% frauds.

Either way, thank you for the update on this, good to know that EA won't be retroactively tainting the better Battlefield games.
