Catwoman's my second favorite Batman antagonist (behind Joker, obviously), so here's hoping Nolan's creative genius does for her character what it did for Two-face and Joker. Liam Neeson is a great actor, but his presence - and especially his voice - is way too soft, easy-going, and paternal for the intense, ambitious Rhas al'Ghul. (remember David Warner's voice acting from TAS? omg)

Has anyone thought of Talia al Ghul by any chance? Could be a story of revenge, as she could be seeking out Batman along with everyone else (as he didn't save her father), and using the Riddler to draw him out? Possibility.

Could be a female Robin. God help our souls if it is.
Prefer Talia, I only really watched the DCAU (not really read much of the comics) but found Talia to be way cooler than Catwoman. (But that might be because who Talia's dad is... :p)

Catwoman could be good to redeem the franchise after the Halle Berry horror, but it's also already been done in my favourite Batman Returns. Would rather see some fresh ideas instead redoing what's already been done.

No not another Batman Returns! FFFFUUUUUUUU-

Hah, just kidding. Actually, I wouldn't mind another Catwoman, as long as they don't make here some sort of damsel in distress or sex symbol (well, the 2nd might be a bit tolerable). Also, Riddler must be there. DO EET!!!

Riddler has his chance with Jim, why not some of other Batman villains? Killer Croc? Clay Face? Perhaps some time with Harley Quinn?

In fairness, I don't think Halle Berry necessarily had to be a bad Catwoman; she was stuck with channeling Eartha Kitt in an howlingly awful script. And it has to be said that her Golden Raspberry acceptance speech was the stuff of legends.

Catwoman is such an obvious choice I almost have to wonder if Nolan is intentionally throwing out a red herring. I'm certain he could make a good movie featuring Catwoman, but his previous movies have been fairly centered on the Dark Knight, and one would tend to think a movie featuring Catwoman would require a more generous division of screen time and story effort. (To clarify: Ledger's Joker was an amazing piece of acting, but one would never really suggest that the movie made a significant attempt to "tell the story" from Joker's point of view; it's Batman's perspective and motivations that drive the plot.)

Hey, for those of you who follow the comics, what about a Black Mask/Catwoman pairing? The two have history, and Nolan has said that he'd like to use a villain who has never seen live action treatment before, so Black Mask would be right up his alley, and then he could include Catwoman as a familiar new character to catch the casual fans attention. Just a thought.

Erm... is that pic a promo for Arkham City? If so, me likey.

Anyway, with Nolan apparently being categorically opposed to feature unrealistic characters in his movies, Catwoman is one of the few viable choices for the next one. I wouldn't complain, that's for sure.
