Rumor: Gearbox Developing Duke Nukem Forever?

Apparently, Gearbox has picked up the rights to develop DNF, with a demo coming later this year. Reactions? If it is true, I have confidence in Gearbox, as Borderlands was a really good game, and they have plenty of industry experience. What are your thoughts, Escapists?

I don't know I mean Duke nukem has been passed around before, and look at what happened so far. If it does come out I will be surprised, if not I will still continue to use Duke Nukem as my way of saying "when pigs fly" (I say, When Duke Nukem Forever comes out)

I think i may be more interested in the zp video that may be done, because if it's good then well, we get a good game and the kind of video where he braces himself and admits it's good, and if it blows like the three dollar whore it could be made out to be then we get the usual funny wednesday treat.

If it's true, you may want to discontinue saying it for a while. People might hold you to your word in the future.

I hope DNF never comes out. Humanity would be robbed of one of our greatest punchline failures. Plus Gearbox created borderlands, which cribbed so much from other games it was like a pizza-burger-spaghetti burrito (as in, not appetizing).
