This is what shows up in the latest threads box: "Rumor: Knights of the Old Republic May B..."

For a brief moment every inch of my soul was hoping for that to be "Back", as in sequel.

Shit I wished I'd played the original now.

I suggest KotOR 2 instead. If you can play both, then play the first one first, but if you have to pick one, go with The Sith Lords (on PC with the Restored Content mod).

2 works much better in light of the first in terms of tone. The sense of loss, and the sense of the galaxy itself becoming little more than a husk, is much more grounded if you've played through the same galaxy in the first game.

I'm talking about working Widescreen. I'm still having troubles getting KOTOR2 to run in anything other than 4:3 with massive black bars on the screen side.

Try tweaking the shadows and resolution around. That fixes more than it should.
