Rumor: Sony Gearing Up for PSP2 Launch

"PSP2?" Is that the best name they could come up with for it? I think they need to fire their marketing department.

Compared to the 3DS? Sounds like any other damn successor to a console. Somebody needs to get some balls to name a brand new console! NeoGeo just rolls of the tongue, don't it?

OT: I'm not much of a handheld gamer, honestly. I have a DS but I only play it, like, once a year on vacations and then put it away. I was meaning to get a PSP, but I've never gotten around to it, and in the end handheld gaming in general doesn't really appeal to me. I can live without a game for 2 or so weeks, thankyouverymuch.

As is my usual policy concerning new consoles, I'll reserve judgement for when they announce the actual games. You know, the things you're supposed to use it to play? I don't care about quad-core GPU if all it's used for is crappy ports, retro game compilations and useless mini-games.
