Ok, so my girlfriend has a Samsung N220 netbook. I'll post the specs at the end of this post. Anyway, she wants to start playing World of Warcraft with me and I don't know if her netbook can handle it. I've been told that it can, so long as I down all the game's settings to their lowest.

So, what I want to know is; is there anything else that I have to do to her netbook? Also, are there any specific game/computer configurations that I need to use to actually have this work properly. Any help you can offer is appreciated.

SPECS

1GB DDR2 RAM
Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz
Intel GMA3150 Integrated Graphics Chipset
250GB Hard Drive
Windows 7 Starter

Not really. Laptops (especially Netbooks) are set as they are. You can modify it slightly, but unlike a desktop you cant do a heavy enough modify to make a major difference. Heck, Personally I wouldn't even try to run games like that on a Netbook, especially that one as the graphics are VERY low. (as is the processor)

NOTE: One thing to keep in mind is that WoW has ben updating over the years with more and more content, so it original "Low Specs" will be higher then that now.

Eg: Team Fortress 2 - Its original low specs req' was only a Pentium 4 Processor. Now with all the updates you MUST at least have a Dual Core to run it remotely smooth.

I wouldn't even bother trying, i've got a netbook with similar specs (although they might be a bit lower) and it struggles to play the original Half Life, trying to play it online is near impossible.
The Intel Atom processors are designed to use low power rather than be super fast. Hence netbooks get great battery life, but not a lot else.

Well...
I've heard of a 16-bit color mode you could look into.
You should probably hunt around on the internet for console commands that will improve performance beyond the sliders in the menu.
