used to play it, now I hate it. dunno how I ever got into it. Nowadays I just steer clear on any MMORPG. Infact come to think of it I hardly go online for gaming at all anymore.

Runescape is terrible its fun if your a little kid

I was a little kid when i played it and i enjoyed it quite alot (about 11 years old)

But as soon as you step into the big boy games or even any other MMO you will hate it just as much as everyone else

Play a free trial of WoW or something Warhammer online or any of these and you will regret all those years of dancing behind some random female character (that was most likely a guy)

Runescape is a boring generic grindfest - and that's what it excels at. If you ever wanted to progress financially through a game by clicking colored rocks and blobs, this is the game for you.

Eeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhh....I mean, I haven't played so I'm not one to judge but...I report on MMORPGs (though I only play the free ones), and out of my batch 9Dragons is the one I like best (even with those stinking ads). I can't say I've really played a browser MMO before. I'm interested in that Earth Eternal one coming out (btw, Furries will LOVE this one).

There are lots of free MMOs that blow Runescape out of the water. Plus you don't have idiots asking to buy accounts in those other games.

Hehe... no applesauce here... I just think the game sports addictiveness since its better than just watching TV all day if your bored- leveling up is pretty fun and makes you feel a sense of accomplishment however small.

I haven't played runescape in a while though and yes, you find younger gamers play this. Maybe thats another good thing about it- less "fanboys" and less "wow - lol.z. i <3 [this game] 4 life and if you say anything bad about it i'll call you gay" kind of people. You know the type? right?

Except that Runescape is found fun by people under 12.

Older people find better free games.

What were you playing before? Fiesta? Flyff? Because I think even they are better. At least you can play them without vomiting at the screen.
