Hereby I declare the recent influx of MMO's fucking retarded.

I had enough, it seems like every game company wants a MMO and invests vast amount of money into it, without knowing if it will ever stick with a large demographic. Sick and tired of seeing this, every game/franchise needing a MMORPG and hoping they hit a cashcow.

They have to realize people have usually enough time for one or two MMO's in total, not a gazillion.
Too true.

Game developers need to invent time machines so that gamers can spend enough time on a gazillion MMOs. That way they'll make Bazillions.

We already killed transformers, why don't we just piss on its dead body while were at it.
What do you mean by killed it? last time I checked transformers was still incredibly popular.
Yeah, it's even got this new TV series that launched recently that's surprisingly entertaining. Perhaps you've heard of it? Look up Transformers Prime if you haven't.

I don't know, Jagex is quite good at MMOs (despite what people say, Runescape is better than most of the crap out there)

If it's free to play, I'll gladly try it out when it launches, this has potential. Runescape was really good for a free to play game, it's just the community that makes me stay away >_>

I may love the original Transformers, but it sounds to me like yet another Champions online, just without the nonrobots. So i pass here.
Well some MMOs consist mostly of bots anyway.

I got to love the prejudice Jagex receives just because it has one of the most solid indie free games on the net. Ever heard of Funorb? Runescape isn't the only game these guys are capable of working on, so if anything I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Do consider that Runescape, an original IP, thrived for over a decade. Where's Warhammer? Conan? Lord of the Rings?
