A 28 year old woman crashes into 2 young sisters. One has a cracked skull and the other is alive but terribly injured. Watch how the people react. Also you can see that the woman who crashed into them just walks away. This clip shows the news report and the video of the hit. This happened in the city of Irkutsk. This video may not be for the faint of heart.

What do you guys think about the accident?

P.S. The woman's cause of crash is said to be many things:
alcohol related
slipping on ice
confusing gas pedal for brakes

EDIT:

can someone translate what are the officers and reporter saying. Like are they commenting on the uncaring of the passerbyers or just reporting.
Reporter:
A tragedy has happened in the center of irkutsk - a car at a high speed got on the sidewalk and hit two pedestrians. A creepy accident and what happened after was caught on street camera. Out of the driver seat of the Toyota Corolla came a 28 year old woman, who by questioning said she confused the gas pedal with the brake pedal. In result, the illegal-acting car flew off the road. At this time, 2 girls were passing that the car sent flying. The woman left the car and like not injured, didn't even come over [to the girls]. For a long time the passerby's did not pay attention.

Police officer:

It would be good to know that (breaking a law?) well, on a video where a camera was standing watch you can notice that the people did not come help the girls but walked by, like the driver did not come over either.

Reporter:
The hurt and alive are in a hospital in a serious state, one of the girls has an open skull brain trauma. We'll have to investigate. Witnesses say that the woman was not seat belted on the spot and was on a very icy road at an illegal speed.

END

Well, everyone knows Russia fell to pieces since the fall of Communism. They actually class beer there as non-alcoholic, 5 year olds could drink it if they wanted. And the police force rarely do anything about the drug dealing and everything else because they're usually involved.

Wow, no "In Soviet Russia" jokes yet. All I can say is, Russia would be the best country to drink and drive in. Hit someone? Who gives a damn, they're all to busy being Russian.

This isn't really a thread for jokes. That only shows how immature and sick minded you are. Most of the internet isn't serious fucking business, but this is. They could have died. And NO ONE CARED.

The sad thing is that they do have a drinking age on beer, they just don't enforce it (16 for beer, 18 for vodka)

Jesus that was brutal.

But...what's the point of this thread? What are we supposed to get out of this? This just seems like another pointless thread that will just have a bunch of people saying "Well I lost my faith in humanity".

Still, I feel really sorry for those poor girls.

Wow. Unbelievable. But more or less i was commenting on the possibility these people must have realized. How could they just ignore that and walk by? What kind of monsters would do that??!??!!!?!?!

+1 humor. Call me sick but I'm always a fan of finding something light even in such instances.

Nah, it was total shit during the days of Communism as well. I'd know.
Well, whatever you say. I've no reason or knowledge about that to muster a challenge to it.

Drunk, high monsters who wish they were dead because they're in Russia. Also unfortunate that Russia is like that in the first place, but there's not much I can do about it. I mean, look at my avatar, i'm being evaporated!

Honestly death is horrible, but it happens.
A LOT.

There are so many other people who get hit and killed by bad drivers and don't have the luxury of being near a surveillance camera so their killer can be caught.

Perhaps I am a bit desensitized, but I've just seen and heard about things like this so much.

I got the translation up in the first post, in case anyone cares.
