I'd do it but not in a way that would kill me...Maybe A) with the gun pointed at my head(and Im 100% sure it wont fire) with the safety on and I lose if I check and the bullet is in the chamber or B) 1 bullet safety off and I aim up and not at my head and lose if the gun fires the round

Man, whatever. Everyone knows full-clip Russian Roulette is the NEW biggest thrill you can get. Don't be a pussy, statistically there's still a 2% chance of living even with 100% of the chambers filled.

Man up or shut up.

depends what the stakes are
Hmm. You win, you become immortal and invincible. You lose, everyone else is given fifty trillion dollars, and flight powers.
hmm thought i would just die

a five in six chance of becoming immortal? ill take that, my life aint that great anyway...but then i would live forever in a crap life...its a toughy

My friends and I came up with a (slightly) less lethal version for college parties. You put 6 shot glasses on a platter, fill 5 with water, and one with a clear liquor, like vodka or Everclear. You spin the platter, and 6 people pick a glass, hold their nose, and slam it.
sounds like a good time! I'd play for sure!

This game is the first thing I think about when the subject of Russian Roulette comes up.

It was funny. I just played it again and got all the way through 5 shots without spinning the chamber. It was Gimp's turn and he still pulled the trigger even with a 100% chance of dieing.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to do that in a real game.
You can always spin the chamber when you play RR. In fact, you'd be stupid not to, as it resets the odds to 5-to-1. If you don't spin, the chance decreases incrementally.

I've had a nightmare about being forced to play Russian Roulette- kind of wish I had never seen The Deer Hunter, haha.

But that's the only way I see myself playing that game, by being forced to- in which case I would probably already be a dead man, eventually- so I'd be hoping for the bullet each turn, and that's chilling just to think about.

Maybe if I was kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel and I was forced to gamble with my life for my freedom, sure.

Then, starting first, I would just shoot all the other people, then take the money.
Aww... Ninja'd.

OT:

Hell no.

If I had to, I'd go first but then shoot everyone else.

If i wanted to kill myself, id shoot myself with a loaded gun. im not so indecisive that i need to have the gun decide whether i live or die.

Are you crazy?! Firing a revolver that close to my ear would permanently damage my hearing!

In addition to my previous comment:

Russian Roulette is simply suicide for gamblers
THAT. I'm not a masochist after all despite my drawbacks as a person. Also these too:

Indeed. ;) I would like to be able to hear the bullet plow through the dude that made me play the game. :)

1 in 6 chance of dying? No thanks.
Yup, it's pointless despite all possible conditions in which one would found himself/herself in such a deadly situation.

P.S.

I've got a few personal sayings I use on a frequent basis. One of them:
"Lady fortune is my *****" So yeah if I had any reason I could bring myself to play.
Well, there's always a first for everything and it will probably be your last too if you are overconfident about your luck. :|
I'm quite the unlucky guy myself and I also don't believe in luck as a concept, but statistical analysis says 1/6 chance of immediate death (if the revolver has this amount of total bullet holes) and that's not a chance/risk that I would ever like to take.

Maybe. There are certain times when I really start to hate myself and think the world would be better off without me and loose all concern for my well-being. I played with the i-Gun app on the iPod once and won every single time. Mind you, we did

[ul]
-1 in the chamber
-2 in the chamber
-3 in the chamber
-4 in the chamber
-5 in the chamber
-6 in the chamber (the iPod died.
[/ul]

And we spread the bullets out all sorts of ways.

Certainly! On the condition that I am Deadpool, but only on that condition... And I would have to stay Deadpool. The whole insta regenerating brain cells thing is pretty awesome, screw the insanity!

Well I wasn't clear on what the actual rules are for the real version and I'm sure different people (or morons if you prefer) play it differently, but I intentionally didn't spin it in the flash game just to add a bit more tension. I was just amazed that I made it all the way and that Gimp didn't spin it himself because he usually does.
