..since when were the STALKER games on the 360?
I believe SoC was scheduled to be released on the 360. That was obviously scrapped quite a while ago, though.

There's no S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on xbox 360... but for PC, I would recommend "Shadow of Chernobyl".

My mistake, i could have sworn S.T.A.L.K.E.R was on PC AND Xbox 360, i must not have done thorough enough research. My Mistake.

Both disappointed me sadly. I blame marketing though, there was a huge game idea with massive amounts of potential in there. Then someone in marketing came along, demanded it be released yesterday, and they had to completely chip away a lot of what would of made it shine. This includes whole areas (they are on the maps but you can't get there or 'rapid jump' over them and other features that would of been sweet.

If it wasn't for user created content, the sort of stuff that made the game HARDER such as realistic physics and lighting, it would of felt like any other FPS to me. Ok any other FPS plus a inventory system and a bit better story line but still, I expected the game they so promised to release during the earlier period. Oh well, learned my lesson: don't follow the development process of any game, just act as if it won't exist till the moment it hit's the shelf.

No hype, no problem.

Also I can say a game had my favourite series of guns though: The VSS.

Even though it isn't fpr the 360 you could still play it on a low end PC. Get SoC first cuz it is alot more atmospheric and isolated then Cleaar Sky.

Well do you have a pc that can run them? Because they are quite good games.

Get SoC. Clear sky is good too but the story is better if you play SoC first. I also wouldn't know about the original visions for SoC and how the final product differs from that, so I guess ignorance is bliss. It's a good game, it has a few quirks but they kind of add to its charm.

Dunno about XBox 360 availability for these games but serious gamers would have a PC that can run them anyway. My 3 year old PC copes with SoC, just. If you have a dual-core or newer you shouldn't have any problems.

SoC is denifinitely better. The prequel is just no-where near as fun, and the faction system is crap.
