Saddest moment in a humorous cartoon?

What do you think was the saddest moment you've ever seen in an otherwise hilarious and/or popular cartoon series?

For me the one moment I can think of is in Futurama when it shows the years passing as Fry's old dog grows old and dies outside the pizza parlor waiting for him to come back. ; _ ;

I know you already mentioned it in the OP, but I saw the title of the thread, and all I could think of was Fry's dog.

I really don't think that any other sad moments in humorous cartoons even come close, honestly.

Ninjad by the OP. Yayness... Futurama again, all the episodes where Fry pines for Leela. Seriously, hes a decent awesome guy, he even re arranged the stars for her, and she doesnt even give him pity sex. She slept with Zapp for goodness sakes!

Also, benders big score, when leelu (the narwhal) is let go, and when Fry realises he is Lars... Man, Futurama is really sad...
