This isn't the first video I've seen but they all have something in common: unlimited ammo. It could be that they took away the ammo limit strictly to show off the game and not have to worry about keeping track of said ammo. Could it be that you can import saves? If that's the case it would explain why the developers have unlimited ammo and would be something for SR vets to look forward to. If you get unlimited ammo right out of the box that would be something of a double-ended candle. Unlimited ammo is pretty great but I loved that I had to earn it one weapon-type at a time in Saint's Row 2. I believe there was an article in which the devs talked about wanting players to feel like they 'owned the streets' (or something like that) right from the beginning. Maybe that means unlimited ammo from the word 'go' but a part of me hopes not. A small part of me who feels like anything worth having should be earned.

I often compare Just Cause 2 and Saint's Row 2 together, and it was a pretty even competition, but this sets a new bar for open-world games!

I'm trying to think of a witty way of displaying my affection for the game, but all that goes through my head is "HE FELL THROUGH A FUCKING PLANE, WHILE KILLING PEOPLE".

And catching a falling person in mid-air once is pretty awesome, but then letting her free-fall again so you can have another go at killing a plane full of people is just insane.

My only concern is that the cockney British voice from Saint's Row 2 isn't going to be available. If they don't let us customize the voice, I'm going to be pissed off. I got really attached to my British psychopath, it'd be a shame to be press-ganged into playing as an American again.

Aww I liked Gad's hair in the movie trailer like he had it in SR2, unless its taking a long time to make it or that they havent made him wear it until a diffirent mission?

and im wondering how the hell did Shaundi got made...into...well THAT...they say shes a reality show contestant or something like that.

I think Pierce didnt take part in the robbery, I think he gets called over by the boss, to say, we need everyone here...now.
I hope that Pierce does not change my damn stations to classic...my car, my rules, damnit!

I didn't even notice Gat in the CG trailer, I couldn't pick out which one was him. Damn redesigns... Shaundi needs to revert to being a slutty hippy again, it's what made her awesome.

And Pierce... I actually found him changing the radio funny. Mostly cause I ALWAYS had the radio on the "Klassic FM" channel anyway. Either that or my personal playlist which was mostly classical music. So he'd change it from classical, to different classical and the Boss would react in what seemed like a really overblown way. Just made those missions in the car with Pierce absolutely hilarious to me.

Well, it might be that the game was just showing you what to do in those situations - i.e., after a take down alternate the triggers to pummel someone to death - like the tutorial parts of the previous games. Although I suppose when you are grabbed in midair by a skydiver "press R to escape" is the definition of a QTE. Sigh.

Ah well, we'll see (not) soon enough.

And I'll say it again, the first mission is barely scratching the surface. =)

But it's nice to see people being excited for this for what it is, and not dismissing it as "Yet Another GTA clone".

Yeah that last comment about the changing stations was an intended pun, I found it to be one of the funniest moments in SR2.
