Hooray for exceeding recommended requirements. This will definitely be a launch-day purchase for me.
Adding to that, if anyone played the PC version of Saints Row 2, the driving was astoundingly bad, as in, when Yahtzee describes driving in a game to be like a hippo sitting on the front end or something like that, he is always exaggerating, but this games driving (I remember the console driving to be much better) was possibly worse than a hippo sitting on the front endSewer Rat said:Hmm... Yep I can play it, but to be honest, I'm still probably going to go for the PS3 version if I get it at all. I just find games made in a sandbox style such as GTA, Prototype, and the Saints Row series work a lot better for me with a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse.
Bite the bullet and just go windows 7 64 bit, it has a window xp mode in it if you need it that bad.Xan Krieger said:I barely meet the recommended, my problem is 4GB of ram is the max my 32bit XP can do. Guess I'll need to find the 64bit version of XP and upgrade to that.
3.4-3.6GB to be precise, but yeah, anybody with at least 4GB of RAM should have a x64 operating system.RiouChan said:3gb is the max that a 32 bit OS can support and your better off a Win 7 64 bit. Win xp 64 bit have some issues to some games.Xan Krieger said:I barely meet the recommended, my problem is 4GB of ram is the max my 32bit XP can do. Well...I wouldn't say my system kicks that much ass. But yeah, high-fivez. Also, I see we have the same brand of cases (Cooler Master).MercurySteam said:Triforceformer said:Hooray for the kicking the ass out of such steep requirements.![]()
High five bro!
Close, it's an Antec DF-85 Dark Fleet full tower. I assume that you have a CoolerMaster HAF case?Triforceformer said:Well...I wouldn't say my system kicks that much ass. But yeah, high-fivez. Also, I see we have the same brand of cases (Cooler Master).
It's a Storm-series Scout, actually. You see I had an alright pre-built system where my only issue was an integrated graphics card. I wanted to upgrade to the GTX 560, but the original case was way too small and didn't have proper cooling systems for such a huge card. One of the "Pro" guys in my TF2 clan recommended CM to me due to relatively cheap price for its quality and its heavy emphasis on coolness. Now I have a chilled down card and a sturdy foot rest.MercurySteam said:Close, it's an Antec DF-85 Dark Fleet full tower. If I could do it again, I'd consider a CoolerMaster HAF 932 Advanced. I don't dislike my case, though my specific one could've been put together better. Still a kick ass case, though.
Can't argue with that. CoolerMaster do make some awesome cases, though nowadays if somebody asked me to recommend them a cheap mid-tower capable of handling long cards then I'd suggest a BitFenix Shinobi.Triforceformer said:It's a Storm-series Scout, actually. Someone forgot that the 360 is just running the game and some in-game dashboard features, while PC still has to run Windows, Steam, an anti-virus, and anything else going on in the background while the game is running.walrusaurus said:Here's my question. Those bare minimum specs are still superior to what's inside a 360. How is it that the lowest graphic setting isn't the lowest one they've optimized? It seems like they're intentionally writing themselves out of a chunk of customers for no reason.
