Saints Row...your favorite NPC.

Well after completing SR3 and having loads of fun whilst doing so... then i had a reflection on the people i've met along the way and thought "damn there's a bunch of crazies in this here series" and started picking out some of my favorites. So here they are:

Johnny Gat- This guy is a bad ass and just as nutty as the character you've created. My favorite example of his badassery? I'll let this vid speak for itself


Next would be a tie between Maero (sp?) and Mr.Sunshine from number 2. Maero is just a big ol monster truck man and i just like him even though he killed Carlos by dragging him. Mr. Sunshine is practically an immortal and he makes a better villain then the actual head of the Sons of Samedi.

and to wrap it up with number 3...Zimos. I mean a pimp who speak in auto-tune and at a point he gets you in a black van and when you question him he merely says "quit being a ***** and get in the van."

Zimos is one of the coolest NPCs I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Everything he says makes me happy.

Me-"What's the S.T.A.G. initiative?"
Zimos-"If it's free porn for everyone, I am doooooown."

Of course Burt Reynolds...especially Smokey and The Bandit era Burt Reynolds. I didn't need to mention him because just saying his name makes things better.

Seriously? This is about 15 minutes into the game, you can't possibly miss it unless you're deaf and forget about Gat for the rest of the game.

I agree, but you still should'a put a spoiler tag over it. As it is more or less a important story element, and also rather open ended until about chapter 2 in the game. Just saying, not criticizing. =)

Well 3 is still very fresh in my mind, and it's been a while since I played 2, so this is a little biased.

Out of the Saints: I enjoyed Oleg and Kinzie. Kinzie was strange but in a funny way, and Oleg often provided some good lulz. Zimos was good, but he and Angel wasn't really around that much.

Opposition: Miller and Killbane. Millar actually seemed the smarter of the 3 gang leaders, if a little arrogant, and being a fan of wrestling, Killbane just sounded like some stereotypical bad guy, and I laughed a little when he said they needed to give the Saints a "Montreal Screwjob" or referred to the boss as a "jobber".

Oleg is fun, to have a monstrosity of man backing you up, when he jumps a STAG VTOL I actually laughed from joy. Kinzie is pretty funny in her own way. Mayor Reynolds is fun just to see my implacable badass reduced to a fanboy.
