I enjoyed the story more in Saints Row but 2 was still fun and improved the gameplay. So yes I would say the first one is definitely worth picking up especially since you can get it really cheap. I personally loved Benjamin Fuckin' King that dude was a pimp.

The first one was really fun I thought I'd get it because it is probably cheap now and it is pretty good. The only downer is that you don't have as many customization options and your character only talks like 4-5 times in cutscenes only.

Actually the only 3 characters that you need to know are Gat ,Aisha and Julius other then that Dex and Troy have very little to do with the game. (Especially since Dex only gets a few lines on a phone.)

Only a few lines? you havn't found the secret mission with him have you..

Spoiler: What you mean..

When You got to the Harrowgate (At least I belive it was the Harrowgate Station)Police station and listen to 3 count them, 3 recordings. one between Troy and Dex and the other 2 I belive are between Julius and Troy. Then you find Dex's phone number and he tells you to go to the old church. There you meet Julius and you have to defend the Church from a group of Ultor soliders. Then you two make a mad dash for Julius' car. Then the mission becomes a simple protect the car mission with a lock on rocket launcher that has infinite ammo. Then you go to a small outdoor theatere where you defeat the remainder of the Ultor soliders. After your guy shoots Julius in the shoulder you two have a nice conversation which kinda goes like so.

Julius "If it wasen't for me you would have died on the street corner."

You.-" if it wasen't for you I wouldn't have been blown up."

Julius- "Then I guess where even."

You shoot Julius and KILL HIM.

You-"Not really."

It was quite funny to watch that cutscene while I was a ninja with a british accent.

If that is what you were refering to then I guess I haven't played it.

I wouldn't play Saints Row, since you played Saints Row 2 first. The first one isn't as fun in comparison.

I only played the first Saint's Row briefly and it didn't engage me. It was fun, but I was only killing time until GTAIV. Then I got SR2 and it was awesome - I tried to go back to SR1 but it still didn't appeal to me, as much as I wanted it to.

You go to police station and listen to all the tape recording things in this room, there are 3 i think, in that same room there is an office sort of thing and you get the mission there.It shows you on youtube how to get it i think.

Shit wrong character...i have Sr2 on ps3 so i never played the 360 original mustve gotten em mmixed up >.<

No problem just don't doubt my knowledge of games/Sarcasm.

It's alright. Seeing as how both Characters are finnally heard in this misson it could be easy to mix it up.

The backstabbing fool.

Go to the Police Station in Saints Row (its down by the river) then go to the room where you and Shaundi hack the Traffic cams,you should see a door on your way up the stairs, Go in and listen to the three tapes that are clearly marked,then go into Troys office and youll get Julius's number,call it in your phonebook and the iconw ill show up on your map.
