Personally, I'm really happy with this. While my own Shepard is heterosexual, despite my own homosexuality, I appreciate and approve of the option considering the game is so set on giving the player as much freedom as they can.

I'm also happy they don't have the intention of suddenly turning all of the characters from the previous games bisexual/gay. Though... they can go ahead with Garrus. Hell, my heterosexual Shepard might just leave Liara for that. ;D

...Actually, I'd be disappointed if that were possible. Just because they're sentient doesn't mean they have the same biological urges. Reproduction to a geth probably means copying lines of code or starting a new document. Even if they're learning and developing emotions, romance would just be implausible to me.

Plus there's more than a thousand active programs in Legion. Wouldn't a relationship with him be almost like getting gang banged or something?

I never thought about the gang-bang thing. Although it would be worth it to hear some of his pick-up lines.

So what? Now we're going to be pumping the Scissor Sisters on every deck of the Normandy? I have no problem with this. I'll keep an open mind so long as they don't retcon any of the characters I already know. Though I'd be disappointed if this meant no new romances for straight Shepards. I was already set but I know some people didn't like any of the options available to them before. Now join me while I look into the future:
