God, I love Samurai Jack. It's up there with Batman the Animated Series as one of the coolest childrens cartoons ever made. Plus it has one of the best intros to a cartoon.

Plus Dextars Labority and the Powerful Girls (honestly, no matter how cutesy it may seem from the outside, a it's seriously funny cartoon for guys as much as girls) are both brilliant shows too.

Can't wait for this.

here a question did samurai jack ever have an ending? i remember when i used to watch it on tv that it got to a stagnating point where jack would beat haku every time but then i never saw an ending.... that one episode with the guardian of the power source showed a possible ending but it never referred to it ever again =/
I'm pretty sure it got cancelled before we ever got an ending. It didn't do all that well.

No, it never did have a concrete resolution it was cancelled before such a thing could be played out. There were talks of it being resolved in a feature length film but I think now that Aku's voice actor is dead we won't ever see such a thing.

Also, can we take Gendy's return to cartoon network as a sign that maybe they'll stop airing all those terribad live action shows? Probably not, but a bright light in a shit storm of programming certainly brightens my day.

Isn't this just like pretty much every action cartoon now?

Strange type of people from elsewhere blend in at a school and more strange people follow them and start fights with them while original strange people have to protect their identities from the people in the school.

It was one of the greatest anime's I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Good night Samurai Jack, and may flights of angels sing thee to they rest.

OT: Hmm....I am eager to see what he can do with this, but I am a bit nervous...Giant Robots are a bit...overdone perhaps? Mind you this nobility thing does throw a creative wrench into the mix, so Id like to see where it goes.

I immediately thought that it looked like Titan Maximum.

And what's the Status with finishing Samurai Jack. And this makes me want Megas. And And And. Damn you Cartoon Network.

AT LAST!!

A glimmer of hope for Cartoon Network, for all they produce nowadays is pure, festering shit.

On a serious note: this trailer brought tears to my eyes. That's how much it means to me to see good animation in today's cesspool of Anime-dubs and faux-Anime abominations. And then there are the abominations that are popular through stupidity.

The guy knows how to do super robots properly just from the last episode of Dexter's Lab that he did before Ego Trip. Then they gave the series to someone else that completely missed the point.

Was I the only one, upon spotting "Giant Robots", to scream out "MEGAS!!!"?

While not Megas awesome (I really wanted megas...) I suppose it's better than the other cartoons that's coming out nowadays.
Megas was just damned amazing. But this is Tartakovsky, so it HAS to be good right? Hes my favourite... Thing. My favourite thing EVER.

(though this doesn't look as good as SJ or SW:CW D:)

ITS ABOUT TIME CARTOON NETWORK!!!

After what they did to Toonami back in the day I had lost hope BUT THEN they released "The Misadventures of Flapjack" and "Chowder" AND NOW THIS.

MY FAITH IN LIFE IS RENEWED.

By the way "Dexters Lab", "Powerpuff Girls" and "Samurai Jack" are some of the greatest shows ever.

It does not seem anything like "Megas XLR", which was a great show but im happy it seems to have its own ideals.

Jack could beat anybody... except Gai or maybe Kenpachi... God what a show down that would be.

If G-man made it, it has to be good, it's like one of the laws of physics. Although I personally don't think the art style is the best fit.

Come on guys thats like saying "Megas XLR" was like "Gundam", to me it looks different enough. The only problem I have is that it seems to be going for that cookey "School life is hard" stuff so many cartoons do, which is not a bad thing, it just might be abit unoriginal.

yeah, for some odd reason I thought of a megas revival too.
