A summary for those who don't want to follow the link.

Neil Gaiman's popular comic "The Sandman" is planned to be turned into a TV series. There don't seem to be many firm details beyond that.

So any opinions?

Oh God. This is going to be a trainwreck. Didn't watch the link, but this really has a tendency to become gross. really gross.

yes, this is something that really wont get the proper attention that it would require, and as such the final product that is shown is likely to be an abomination.

Im guessing due to the tie between warner bros and DC, in all likelyhood it will be relegated to the CW network, which that in and of itself is likely to be a deathknell for its survival.

Ehh, time will tell. I just dont see it having much chance at success
