In all seriousness, I doubt any staunch republicans would be trying to access her email, even if it was under the guise of alerting her to a potential security flaw. The person/s who did this are either anti-republican or just politically apathetic pranksters. If they're the former, which is most likely, any and all damaging emails that were located in there would have been forwarded off to the press. So chances are, there are no government emails in there. They've already been deleted.

And I stand by my comments in support of Sarah Palin's anti-bear stance. Without anti-bear crusaders such as Mrs Palin, bears would run amok through our cities, kidnapping our children and stealing our pic-a-nic baskets.

Why don't you like Palin?
Because she's inexperienced, she hates polar bears, she's a mega Christian, she's unprofessional, she supports censorship(she had a librarian fired for not taking certain books out of a library) along with a couple dozen other reasons I could list.
The firing of the librarian was proven to be a myth.
the supposed incident was Palin suposedly didnt want harry potter books 1-4 in the library.
The problem with that was the books where not even out at the time of said claimed incident.
Also as for inexperience how is Gov. for two year less than say obamas 2 years in the senate?
The hates polar bears and unprofessional part just seems like typical rhetoric to me

Obama's two years in Senate beats two years in Governor's office, Senate is a higher office and I'm not going to argue about his, because it's impossible to reason with conservatives like you

You could argue though that being a Governor is executive experience and that Obama has been spending most of his time running for president. But then you could talk about Obama on the State Senate in Illinois and so on.

They're both inexperienced, you can't be both ways on it.

I think we all can agree that no matter what party they hail from, they're all self-serving corrupt goons anyways. Why can't America just come together and admit that most of our politicians are shit? You can either vote for Bush 2.0 or a senator who just started shaving a few months into the primaries. Either way, America's not going to get better.

Senator is not a higher position, they represent a state whereas Govs lead a state (a mini country with its own economy national guard and such)
and yes shivari they are both inexperienced, that i agree with but i'd still take exec exp. over voting present in the senate :)

Like I said in the Presidential thread, no matter who gets elected they simply won't be able to fix things whether they want to or not. They'll be stuck in a bad time and won't be looked at favorably.

I wouldn't want to be president now.

Hmm, 100 senators and 50 governors... Executive orders and vetoes for each governor, none for senators... Governors must vote "yes" or "no" on each passed bill, senators may vote "present" or just not show up, no one will miss them in the crowd... Governors control their states' National Guard contingents, senators control, um, staff members... Governors can negotiate contracts for their respective states, senators can be one vote in a hundred for or against treaties... We have to have a lieutenant governor in case the governor is incapacitated, but we don't seem to need lieutenant senators, no hurry to replace THOSE...

It's not impossible to reason with conservatives, it just looks difficult when you do it. LOL

I apologize for my flaming comment, I get overexcited sometimes, I have to agree with all politicians being corrupt though.
I think the worst thing about Mccain is the fact that he's like a smart Bush so we can't even laugh at the stupid things he does, he'll just destroy our economy while we try to squeeze out a couple more old guy jokes.

so... before jumping on the Fox News bandwagon (yes, Rupert Murdoch owns Myspace as well as many other media outlets) how about we do a little research on how Palin's own state feels about her, hmm?

http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/08/29/what-is-mccain-thinking-one-alaskans-perspective/
I found this one quite enlightening as to why McCain's administration would have chosen her.

(IMO they just wanted someone who knew how to "play ball" politically speaking, and had enough skeletons in her closet to keep her quiet no matter what she sees going on behind the curtain)

What, no counter? Senators approve SCOTUS nominations, approve treaties, set laws for whole country, read TelePrompters like nobody's business? No apologies necessary, anyway.

McCain isn't a smarter Bush, by the way, they can't stand each other. He opposed Bush's tax cuts, and the only reasons he doesn't support repealing them are (A) Even Obama admits they raised government revenue and boosted the economy, and (B) a presidential candidate not promising tax cuts has no chance. (Though I can't really understand why people think Bush is stupid, he gets pretty much everything he wants even though the Democrats control Congress (the opposite of Progress) and the Republicans are running away from him as quickly as possible.)

I think the real question is why, when Congress' approval rating runs about half of Bush's, both parties have nominated a Senator...

Have you never learned reading for comprehension? Palin's lowest approval rating was 67%, most of her term she has earned high 80s to 90%. Her own state freakin' worships her. She took on the most powerful Republican machine in the country (Murkowski/Stevens) and exposed their corruption, then soundly whipped it to become governor. The most party opposition the Messiah, self-acclaimed Chosen One of Change, has been able to muster is to vote "Present" rather than oppose his party.

Get a job and buy a clue, dude. You're seriously dumbing down the Internet.

(See, Spartan? That's what I'd have said if you had actually said something stupid.)

Obama is ahead 51-45 in Illinois. McCain is ahead 60-36 in Alaska. I'd say both sides can muster one disgruntled person in the other sides' home states.

Odd tactic but it does make sense, a sort of reverse version of the Trust Operation applied to politics, except with the goal of making Palin look clean, by revealing her "dirty secrets" to be just average gossip.
