Now, anyone who knows about/has been following/is losing sleep over Deus Ex: Human Revolution will no doubt know about Sarif Industries, which are a fairly large influence in both the game and in the Player Character, Adam Jensen's life.

It would appear that Eidos have taken a page out of Valve's book in terms of marketing and publicising their game, even going so far as to create a mock-advert for it:


The website at the end, www.sarifindustries.com is a real website created just for this advert, it would appear. It even looks thoroughly genuine. If I didn't know about DE:HR then I probably would have been fooled into thinking this was real and started thinking of convenient ways to lose various parts of my body.

I've never played Deus Ex (although Human Revolution looks awesome) and I thought that was pretty damn cool.

Actually it's been up for a while. I remember visiting it a month or so back from a Kotaku article about Direct Ex: Humid Rendering (yes, I'm doing that thing where some of us make fun of the name; Doesn't mean I'm not fairly excited for it)
