I think that was one of the most disturbing movies I'll ever see, never saw so much detail into how people kill each other.Especially the knife scene, that one will never leave me.No,I don't have a favorite part.
*EDIT*
ALSO :

[HEADING=2]Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War (2004)[/HEADING]

Is a superior war movie.TRUST ME!

The battle scenes are just as graphic, but the story is alot more interesting, about 2 brothers draftet into the South Korean army.

It was one of the first properly graphic films I can remember seeing, watched it when I was about eight. Excellent film. I'm not sure if I have a favourite part though. The entire Normandy beach landing sequence is very intense, as is the sniper duel, and the knife fight is just downright disturbing. The helmet throwing scene that directly follows it is hilarious though. Talk about mood whiplash [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MoodWhiplash].

That scene was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen, in any movie, EVER.

I don't really have a favorite part but I enjoyed the whole thing overall. However, am I the only one who had a problem with the documentary part in the op.

Just one part?

Eesh, difficult, I'd say that during the climax with the knife fight.

Dramatic.

I think he is just taking the piss :p

I did like the bit where they find the wrong Private Ryan, though. Hooray for Nathan Fillion!

What?
"today i watch saving private ryan i thought it was a very good documentary "

I think he means that bit. Usually when someone refers to a fictional film as a documentary it's a pretty sure sign of trolling ;-)

I didn't have a favourite part, it just reminded me how sick I am of America constantly churning out WWII "We were the heroes" movies, even if it was definitely the best of them.

Well I saw "Saving Private Ryan" but I never saw "Saving Private RAIN".

Was that one of Boll movies about Bloodrain???

"Ha ha ha" now if you would kindly quote that and put that "cha ching dang" picture underneath it because I can't find it. Thank you.

PS. I know it's "Bloodrayne" but I just felt like posting a terrible joke.

Feth you, go re-watch it!

EDIT:
Now where have I heard that word before? :p

On topic: not particularly pleasant, but there are far worse scenes in that film.

Seriously, I'm re-reading The Saint omnibus right now (Honour Guard atm) and I've just ordered The Lost from the Black Library.

OT: When I see that knife being pressed in I can't help but think of that execution video of the Russian soldier. Now that was graphic, and certainly made me think twice about being a infantryman.
The Saint's the all best of the series, but some of the Lost books are very good, especially Only in Death.

What execution video?
