I must say, im excited about this game because it brings the joy of puzzle games back into the mainstream, even if it is filled with blood and pain. The combat look like it oculd improve but i would definatly get this game just for the puzzles, story and death scenes!

Anyone else intrested in it? Comes out on the 6th October for in North America, November 20 in Europe, and October 6 in Australia

Wow, that looks like an incredibly sick game that plays off of exploiting shocking images, just like the movies...

Saw it already. Wow, it's hard to say that you saw Saw. Ah, redundancy!

Anywho, it was in gamestop. I liked the first movie, but considering the series went downhill from there, the game rather worries me. I may play it sometime in the future, but not the near future.

It look's interesting i have to say, but also it looks like a rental rather than a purchase.
Yeah, I couldn't imagine myself paying 30 quid or so for a game like this.

I love puzzle games.
Saw never really appealed to me so I'll rent it if I get a chance.

Meh. Could be interesting, and it does look it, but I think it might be a rental, as opposed to a full buy, if only because Iwhile I liked the movies, 'm not a massive fan of the Saw series.

I've seen the entire walkthough on Youtube already. I wouldn't suggest that you buy it, rent it instead. Though from what it seems the achievements/trophies in the game are very easy to get.

I'm another who didn't find the movies appealing, but I do enjoy a good puzzle. The game play does appear a bit rigid--action figures is a good comparison to make.

This is definitely a "rental" game for me, I'd rather spend 50 bucks on something more interesting.

So Australia classifies THIS but not Left 4 Dead 2
Where have you been? It got classification after being modified to remove some of the violence. Still doesn't make all that much sense.

Yeh i realise that (I don't live under a rock) but the original version, you cut open alive people and it's alright but you can't put an axe in the face of a (basically) non-humans face. Sorry I just found it astounding.

Maybe its not banned in Australia because because you rarely see bones and its a set animation death, unlike Left 4 dead 2 where the body parts are directly effected by the impact, causeing various death animations/scenes, dubbing it too graphic. Who knows.

Geh...no. The movies are essentially just marketed sadism, and that's bad enough. Having a game pretty much makes it worse. There is a line where Saw stopped being scary and just got disgusting.
It's also kind of funny that this isn't getting massive amounts of flak from the "Think of the children" types. I'm recalling the controversy over Madworld, but I'm actually fine with Madworld because it didn't try to take itself seriously. The developers knew they were going to offend half the world's population and hung a lampshade on the fact.
I don't know, maybe I'm being a prude, but I just can't look forward to this. Or Saw Freaking VI.
