Remember people, I'm a 15 year old kid debating on this, and yeah, this doesn't say much for the world we live in, but if a few kids can realize that politics are starting to turn the worlds free reign into a form of dictatorial government, then that shows that people need to be worried as well.

One could also argue that your age means you don't have enough knowledge or experience to truly understand politics or the implications of laws and treaties such as this, and that you are in way over your head.

Laws like this have happened before (and only affecting internet file sharing) and it failed. Now that both legal Drugs and food have been put on the Line, adding both major money factor and human life factor. So if ACTA is passed, people will go hungry from sudden lack of food, and get sick and die because their medicine is now too expensive.

its not just the internet you fool. This entire thing will restrict EVERYTHING. Music, Television shows, any form of genetic engineering, modifications to parts by different companies. YOU are the short sited one. I can see several ways to improve the hydraulic quick disconnect, and even though my great grandfather was the one to sign the patents, if ACTA goes into effect, I can't touch it without the company consent to try and help make it better.

You don't realize that this also effects the drug companies. Generic store-knockoffs will be banned and we will be FORCED to buy expensive, high-price namebrands on EVERYTHING.

For instance this very website? Think about it, if there going to restrict anything that breaches copy right, than there will be nothing postable on this website. Every mention of a game or brand etc (negative or positive) without written consent from the company, is techincaly a breach of copyright and thus will add to this 3 strikes stuff and get your internet perma-banned. I mean 20 years of them getting to be the only people selling the life saving medicine that they invented/discovered?

Patents exist for a very important reason. I pirate stuff occasionally, but if pirating was legal everyone would pirate all the time. Then all the things that we love would go away. Like medicine, and songs, and videogames.
