Well, I grew up on the border of the U.S. and Canada and we had a rivalry with the Canadian high school in hockey so I got to see some Canadian assholes (along with plenty of American assholes) but overall Canada, you are a cool lot.
At college I made friends with many different international students and enjoyed hanging with them greatly. There's nothing like being in a group of ten people where only maybe three people are from the same country. The plethora of awesome accents is almost too much to handle. And I kind of fell for a Turkish girl... but she had to go back
Also, as has been noted earlier, the UK has produced many of my favorite movies, music, actors, books, and damn I love your dry wit. I think you're just inherently funny.

Your music is stunning (Beethoven to Blind Guardian), your artists are world masters (Albrecht Durer), your historical warfare is honorable in every sense of the word (Vercingetorix, The Landsknechts, Holy Roman Empire, Johannes Liechtenauer, Erwin Rommel), your mythology is captivating, and your land is beautiful.
I am very, very sorry that we here in America portray you all in a negative light each and every time we make a war movie. Your accents are romantic...not warlike.
