Pretty much all of the compliments I can give to games I don't like involve music. Elebits may have been kind of crap, but "The Smile of You" is one of the best end credit songs in any game, and while I hated Mario 64, Steal Princess, and Prinny 2, they all had great soundtracks. I still have nothing nice to say about Touch Detective 2 1/2 and Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia though. Talk about two sequels to awesome games that made every single wrong choice. :/

Oh, and as for Pokemon White, it at least gave us the absolute best version of the Pokemon Center Theme EVER!

Final Fantasy 13 - Generally great music, environments tended to look amazing (at least on a High Def TV wider than my armspan.)

Metroid Other M: I liked the idea of it, Samus getting backstory and all, it just wasn't done very well.

Heroes of Newerth: The heroes are all (at least in my opinion) pretty creative, and the environment looks nice.

FEAR 3. (For the record, hated the game with a passion)

The conversation with a VERY traumatised Becket ;P It's nice to see that he wasn't exactly alright in the head after the end of the second game.

I'll even give one more good thing: The combat is satisfying - watching people explode in a spray of blood never gets old.

Fallout 3 has great free roaming in a well made, atmospheric and interesting open world.

Dragon Age 2 - The loading screens are amazing, some of the best I've ever seen. The design of the talent trees is a nice idea.

CoD Black Ops - Those little numbers that pop up when you kill someone in multiplayer are neat.

Dawn of War II - Excellent way the story and background is done.

Dragon Age Origins - What witty characters you have!
Oblivion - The glass swords were pretty cool.
Pokemon Games - For being the same thing over and over again, you take a LOT of skill to master.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider Legend - Nice tits.
Prince of Persia - Everything looked quite nice actually.

far cry 2 was not nearly as good as its predecessor. because crytek didn't have anything to do with it...

but what I did like was the zebra's ability to 'stumble' under my car when I was driving down the road.
You'd almost say they wanted to kill themselves.

(but I had a good laugh)

Spore: Umm, the creature creator was cool.

Worms Reloaded: It did have the feel of the older Worms games, right down to the cheating AI.

Hospital Tycoon: That annoying narrator from the "story" bit didn't talk all the time.

Gish: At least the money went to a good cause (Humble Indie Bundle).
