Hello everyone. I've tried posting this on the SC2 Forums, but since you willl never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy, my thread was quickly buried.

Now then.

I'm currently attempting to install SC2 onto a flash drive so that I may play it during a 4-hour break I have on-campus in the school's computer lab (Yes, I have checked with the computer lab officials, and provided I don't make a disturbance, they have no problem with me playing SC2 there). There's just one problem; the machines on-campus use Windows 7, and I have XP at home.

So my question is this; does anyone know if there will be compatability errors? And if so, is there any way to install, say, a Windows 7 version of the game using a Windows XP machine?

I'd guess not, backwards compatibility is rarely an issue its usually forward compatibility that creates the most issues, however I am taking a blind guess.

Is SC2 like WoW and can be dl'd from either b.net or the website if you have your pw/authenticator? if so you may be able to dl a different version directly onto your drive that way. Again just a guess and a thought.

You know, I think you can download directly from Battle.net.

I'll try that; thanks for the tip!
