sc2 plot, spoilers Im sure

ok so Ive been hearing that the plot of sc2 is pretty much copied from warcraft, I supose Ill throw up the tags for anyone in too much of a rush to read the subject

ok so Ive heard that now the zerg are controlled by space demons or something, thats pretty much exactly the plot of the warcraft series, orcs are monsters then it turns out they are demon controlled and once its over they arnt so much anymore

can anyone confirm? if so I really want to ***** at blizz about it, altho I suppose them not being able to write good plots is nothing new, war 3 copied sc's plot also, altho you replaced kerrigan with arthus (probably spelled right but maybe not)

well to be fair there are minor changes between each one but i wouldnt say an exact copy but than again most great storys have simmilar plots when broken down

Unless the Orcs demon master was created with the sole purpose of saving the world/universe and is turned into a human with a touch of it's old features then yes it's the same

WC3 Burning Legion was a retcon and Starcraft Xel'Naga were there since the beginning and foreshadowed heavily in Brood War.They did retcon the Overmind though.

So yeah I guess it's samey.

No the zerg are not at the moment controlled by the hybrids. They were ment to be as a plot by one of the Xel'naga. The overmind, attempting to use a loophole to stop the cycle, created Kerrigan. As long as she controls the swarms, the hybrids can not.

though there are similiarities, such as a higher power using a race to conquor worlds and such, Starcraft 2 goes a different path, where instead of destroying the masters of the orcs/zerg, it's more, turning the orcs/zerg against their masters before they are under control.

My take on it.

ugh damn blizz, I swear the best plot ever to come out of them was in diablo, or rock and roll racing

now that I think about it they kinda did the same damn thing with the undead in warcraft, first they are pawns of the demons but then OH suddenly they arnt evil just misunderstood again, well I suppose recycling does help the environment
