WOW, Just fuckin' WOW. The explosion of butt hurt entitlement on the Halo forums on Waypoint is mental. 343 announce the details of their forthcoming map packs and that if you buy it (as opposed to receiving it with your LE Halo 4) you get a falcon emblem and a couple of exclusive helmets.

Then WUH-BAM! People go nuts! Folk cancelled pre orders, swear off Halo for life, cry little tears of lonely sadness. It does my head in, I pre ordered the LE, my GF pre ordered the standard. We pre ordered from different stores so are getting different skins etc

I was glad, she likes that her MP character will be different and have some customization options that I don't have and I feel the same.

I checked the forum this morning and 343 changed their stance, giving the helmets/emblems to everybody, now folk are pissed it didn't happen immediately because they cancelled their pre order in a fit of cry baby, nappy rash rage.

Boo fuckin' hoo.

This is a classic example of first world problems.

I really hope those fans are just a vocal minority. It's crap like that that makes gaming seem childish.

Generally, fans on official forums tend to believe they represent the majority but they don't.
The whole incident just reminded me of the Mass Effect 3 ending debacle, I am a HUGE Mass Effect fan and I was a bit disappointed by the ending but the journey is what matters to me most not the last 5 mins.

I don't need to have everything in a game anymore, part of growing up I guess, I just wish (in vain, I know) that fans of a game could be more reasonable sometimes
