Scariest game/series ever

Well I'm getting into horror games and have already played a few like Dead Space and Bioshock (although that isn't really that scary) and I am thinking of getting F.E.A.R 3 (or F.3.A.R as it is advertised) and am wondering what was the scariest game you guys have played?

Mine would have to definitely be Dead Space...

Yep, X-18 was bloody scary. Those Poltergeists freaked me out, even though they weren't actually that dangerous. Now, Bloodsucker Village, oh god.

Doom 3 scared the crap out of me. Its not really the scariest game I've ever played but it certainly is quite scary.
Also, Project Zero II (AKA Fatal Frame II). That game REALLY scared me shitless.

Hands down the Chzo Mythos series by our own Ben 'Yahtzee' Croshaw. They are avalable for download for free on his sites. They are point and click adventure games and all hold a place as the scariest games I have ever played.
