Well, this is my first topic here and I'm scared that I might of re-posted, If so just direct me to the topic and ill try and get this one locked.

Well this topic is for things that have happened or you've seen happen that where scary, like legitimately scary not movie scary, or that made it so your life would never be the same. Well I'll start off and I do have a few.

When I was 5 my brother told me that him and his friends where going someplace, and that I couldn't come cause people may try and kill them. I was 5 and being that age I believed them and ran home crying and hid in my bed until he came home...5 hours later...I'll always remember that moment.

Another one which was more traumatizing was when I was around 6. It was Easter and I was at my uncles. When we got there though my aunt said he was out. I played with my cousins and he came in with his hand behind his back. I didnt know why but when he turned around there was a dead rabbit with a hole in its skull

First year of Primary. I was at a french school, we went out to the playground and the police had the area cordened off. they where taking blood soaked clothing through the cement playground and before they left the next day they took a large bag. ITs only know I realize what that was.

Now its your turn

About 10 years ago when the bull was chasing me around the field.
That reminds me of when me and my brother where hitting golf balls in a field at the cottage we use to go to, my brother hit one really far, and in the single most comedic moment, it came down 30 seconds later and hit a cow on the head which then proceeded to moo in annoyence

When I was a kid we used to play around the back of some garages, we broke into one of em one day and there was a body in there. Some homeless druggie had been using it for a home. That was the most traumatizing moment of my life, nothing beats seeing a corpse when you're 7. It was also the most exciting thing to happen in our small English town!

Err... I died for five minutes at age 6 from drowning.

/thread?

Although I'm not scared of death anymore. And there's no heaven or hell from my glimpse. So a growing, but scary at the time, experience.

Mine's pretty lame compared to the rest of yours.

I saw an alien one time.

At least, I'm pretty sure I did. Both my parents saw it too.

I remember one time I was at my cottage and I was like 8ish. I was sleeping in the middle of a field about 40 minutes from the house part of the cottage, it was just me and my older 16 year old cousin in a tent. And I kept telling him there was something out there, but he wouldnt look, so being the typical jumpy 8 year old I took his carbiner which he had for a trip his dad was taking him on in the morning and peered out into the night from the tent. There wasnt much there until I saw a pair of green lights staring at me and when I looked at them they vanished followed by the sound of something running through the brush...never found out what it was or if I was just dreaming or imagining it, but I swear it was real its to vivid. I never go out in the dark around forests with out a hatchet at least now...the supernatural and terretrial beings the could be out there just freak me out...and my mind loves to make me scared by thinking about it

It doesn't seem like much compared to others in the thread, but I nearly got ran over when I was five or six.

That's pretty freaky man.

I was out walking around the street my house was on at around 2 in the morning when I was about 12 and I was with my parents and 2 of my friends at the time. We heard some shaking in the bushes beside us and when we turned to look, we saw what looked like the typical Grey alien peering out behind the bush.

Naturally, we all ran.

My neighbor's dog chased me for at least 2 blocks on my bike at the age of 7. Eventually, they managed to get a hold of him and I managed to get out unbitten, but that one incident left me fearing dogs up until I was about 16. It didn't help that nearly every time I went out on my bike after that, I was chased by one of the neighborhood dogs.

Hypothermia at the top of a mountain on my first hiking trip. Have learned better preparation since then.

I was tuck under a house, covered with spider webs, my only exit blocked with more werbs, and a redback sitting peacefully on my nose, (Now I'm arachnophobic)
