That is a bird. Ergo, that is a massive spider. Although it's not particularly deadly, bite-wise, I really don't care. If I see one of those, I am turning around and leaving.

That thing was in the news here for a while. Apparently the spider cut the bird loose and just dropped it to the ground.

A spider that eats birds is scary, a spider that can be picky about which birds it eats......

On a somewhat related note, I found out that hairspray is the bane to most bugs. It really crispifies them. I almost felt sorry for a wasp I killed that way. The thing was as large as my finger though, screw that!

Spoiler: These things just creep me out for some reason.

I'm also not too fond of centipedes, especially house centipedes (I swear H.P. Lovecraft must have designed those fucking things), or most spiders (Except tarantulas, oddly enough. I still wouldn't want to touch one because of the fangs and all, but a tarantula wouldn't elicit the same irrational "oh, fuck, it's near me!" response that the smaller ones would). I'm fine with most other bugs though, like the giant pil bug from the first post, or millipedes.
