So I love horror movies and all things scary, while I can safely read and watch horror I have a bit of an issue when it comes to games I get scared much more easily and I am more likely to suffer nightmares...

but I have an issue I have become faceanated with the idea of playing five night's at freddies 1&2
but just watching let's plays scares me

now I have being trying to slowly up what I can take game-wise and even managed to beat Amnesia via playing in small chunks (took me two weeks)

my first question do the 5NaF games have a pause menu because currently I kinda use that as a crutch and need it
and if they don't can anyone suggest other games to "train" myself on first....
horror I currently own:

Amnesia (completed scary)

Amnesia: machine for pigs (currently trying to beat, really scary)
I am up to the part with the cages I got killed by the patrol and ended up rage/fear quitting

Don't starve (kinda scary, have not beat to to hardness rather than fear)

Miasmata (pretty scary)

Haunted Memories (too scary another "goal" game)

Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir(fatal frame series ds game) (completed a little scary)

also tried to complete fatal frame 2 but chickened out and could not even pass the first room :((it was a rental)

Play some of the horror classics first, such as the earlier games by the amnesia devs, the silent hill series (you'll become a fan after the first few games and then rage at the later ones), and condemned 2:bloodshot, and the fatal frame series.

I personally get scared shitless by games like dead space 1 and fear 1, and they are good games, but they aren't really horror games(they are just shooters), so they won't count towards your epeen.

5naf is solid but it's not a must play at it's price.

Nnnope, FNAF has no pause. You're in it to win it or bust but at least it's easy to die so the whole thing can be fairly rapid depending on your skill/luck level. Even then the "horror" part sort of wimps out the more you play because it turns from "freaky" to "frustrating".

The Clock Tower (particularly 3) is good if you can get around some... aspects of the game. Same thing for Rule of Rose and Haunting Ground.

I second the Silent Hill series, Condemned 1 and 2 and Fatal Frame. Hell, even the first Bioshock has its moments of fear if you aren't sure what to expect or are a jumpier individual (like myself)
