For me, the biggest tear-jerkers were in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Anyway, towards the end of 'Shadowlands' I was close to weeping. Everyone knows that scene in Scrubs (season 5, I think, when Dr Cox loses all of his three featured patients, the Fray soundtrack just makes all the more blub-worthy). Pretty much the entire of the final episode of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.

Parts of Clannad made me sad, but not cry. Also known as the ultimate tear-jerker anime.

Final Fantasy 10's ending almost succeeded, I stopped myself.

Elfen Lied. Character backstories and the ending to the manga. I cried manly tears.

I can't really think of any good examples, but that was some sad shit.
