I'm just expecting a new sex game to come out once the new name for the school is chosen.

As much as I like what the mayor said about backing down to internet fringe culture... "cherry" has had sexual connotation since long before computers even existed. "Cherry elementary school" is not a smart school name in any context. If anyone in the US suggested such a name for a school of any type, they'd be instantly fired under suspicions of pedophilia.

Also, googling the original name of the school gets you a ton of lolicon even with strict filtering.
