School project suggestion

I'm studying electrical engineering and to graduate we need to make a project in that field.It can include anything from robotic arms to model home electrical installations.
Can you suggest me any project,preferably something interesting and not too complicated to make.I will probably work with a partner so have that in mind too.

Make a quantum hard disk. Then tell me how you did it in time for my dissertation in quantum data storage.

More seriously, pick something you enjoy. Is there something you could build that you'd be interested in? If you're on here I presume you're into PC or console stuff, so design and construct some components from scratch. If you're into music, make the internals for an electric guitar. If you feel a bit handy on the side, build a full electric guitar. Make a list of things you enjoy and then assess them using your mad engineer skilzzz

I always tend to go for something really out there.

I'd suggest a project on rebuilding the electrical grid, etc., in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.

In all seriousness, if I were you I'd make one of those alarm clocks that move about when the alarm goes off. Make it have a pair of legs and when the alarm clock goes off it walks a short distance.
