So yea, A week ago I had a "Brilliant" idea for a science fiction series.
The year is 2034, after many years of the government tightening its grasp on a weary populace, a tycoon of the aircraft industry, a mysterious tycoon of the aircraft industry(Name not yet figured out) has been pulling strings towards revolution. It is a Thursday, when the false military coup goes off in washington, it is a planned failure. However, moments before the defeat, citezens start to revolt, and the tycoon unveils his secret prodject: a capital ship.
The zone then defocuses from that into someones TV as the story is reported on the evening news. He works in installation 17, formerly Pheonix, Arizona. He is the main protaganist. The sound of chaos and thunder outside his meager appartment gets louder. In fury he picks up a random blunt object and joins the mob. Theres some other stuff about him making his way to the rebel leaders in that sector, and gaurds breaking in. On the way back to his appartment, two gaurds try to aprehend him. As he starts to defend himself, a small asteroid hits, one of many from the fragmented one that was supposed to hit that year. Installation 17, and a few other areas are completely destroyed. This is the end of the novel.
