Sci Fi MMO

Can anyone reccomend me a good Sci Fi MMORPG I am looking for something similar to wow but with a more modern/futuristic flavour.

There's a new star wars mmo coming out that's supposed to be like wow.
also there is eve online but i found that game very boring although you might like it.
But the two mmos that look good are guild wars 2 and that horror mmo coming out not sure of the name.

Theres the old Republic but I'm not buying into the hype. It has the art style of the prequel trilogy and looks like a WoW clone.

Eve is pretty popular though.
