Short answer: Fight Club, Long Answer: She likely didn't try to fight Link rather someone else while trusting Link would play the Noble Knight and come to her rescue if it got to out of hand. the better question is how she got out of it and to the empty building.

She started the bar fight with some other random people, they probs just (rightly so) thought she was nuts and battered her when she started on them. I'd say at this point not only does she hallucinate, she's got split personality disorder too, given she managed to get to "Links" house and imagined being hung out of the window.
