Never thought I'd actually say "he's got a good face for MODOK" about anybody but there you go.

You would think just having to speak your lines without needing to do any actual movement of your body would be easy, but considering how much acting goes into facial expressions, he's probably got his work cut out for himself.

How about no. MODOK does not in any way work for an live action film, or at least not how he appears in the comics. I think that he looks too ridiculous to be considered an actual threat by the average movie goer.

I can see that working, but they'd have to change the physical design of him hugely to work in live action.

Something along the lines of a Space Marine Dreadnought, but with MODOK's oversized skull in the middle and a decaying, atrophying face and body visible through a view port (maybe more like a Penitent Engine then?). Make it look as though incarceration inside the suit is painful and driving him steadily insane. For film MODOK needs more of a physicality and presence than a floating head in a jetpack does.

I like Dinklage, but lets face it: I can think of no conceivable way of presenting MODOK as a movie villain and not having him drain all the realism and credibility out of it.

You know, I was going to say why MODOK of all people (that would be so silly in a live action movie) when there are other Captain America villains to use, but I can't really think of any other good Captain America villains outside of the Red Skull. And I read the bloody comics! So umm...good luck with that.

I don't think it will work. Not the MORDOK character but a Captain America (or Thor, Iron Man or Hulk) sequel. Avengers is comin out next year. Why would we want to go from watching all of them together kicking ass and taking names back to one doing the same thing. If it is amazing we won't want to go back to single and if it flops we won't care.

And lose him from Game of Thrones?? No way, He's made Tyrion my favorite character in the movie by far with his awesome performance.

Well, just because the guy seems more passionate to use MODOK, that it gives me some hope it would be done right if doen at all.
Would this sequal be pre or post Avengers? A Cap and Iron Man focused team up movie would be cool, besides the Avengers one.
